Wet on the road

Thanksgiving Day, and I have much to be thankful for: my family, all the good people in my life, my health, a beautiful peaceful place to live, a roof over our heads, space to grow some of our food, rain after a long hot summer, and more.
I had a walk in the rain for the first time in months, so refreshing. It was too wet to take the camera out so used the iPhone for some photos. The leaves of the Lombardy poplars on our place and across the road are spectacular, and I took this of a couple that had fallen on the road.
