Recycling by the road

I went for a short walk down Xwaaqw'um this morning, nice to get some fresh air. This is part of a collection of recycling and garbage on the road down to the dock. I've seen piles of both here before, and I assume that people who live on the boats in the bay put their stuff here to be picked up and taken to the recycling depot and transfer station. There are a couple of trucks parked in the dock parking lot that are owned by people who live on boats, so maybe those people drop the stuff off.
It looked like it was going to rain when I was on my way home but it's cleared up again. Rain in the forecast for the next few days.
