Mrs B is a willing model when at this distance.  We walked in the New Forest from the Lucy Hill car park, and very pleasant it was too.

The New Forest does not seem to be very crowded, even on a weekend with good weather; we wondered if it was merely less well publicised than perhaps the Peak District and the like . . .
