Friendship

Three friends are staying in a caravan in Silverdale, so yesterday morning and again this morning we travelled over to say hello. Lots of chat, and we had a (distanced) lunch with them, before travelling in convoy to Cartmel.

Two extras. The first, Cartmel viewed from the edge of the racecourse. It’s only a village, and a small place, but has a magnificent priory dating back to the twelth century, two Michelin starred restaurants, is the birthplace of sticky toffee pudding, and of course has a racecourse. And the second J and L listening to the choir rehearsing choral evensong, which was wonderful to listen to. I worry that this hundreds year old tradition will die out - the choir were all elderly.

I took lots of group photos, but am as always uncomfortable about putting any online. But I quite like this image of J, B, L and R looking out towards Morecambe Bay, no faces shown.
