Mourão by the lake - Day 16

Up fairly early to walk into Mourão before it gets too hot. We walked around the castle into town, and visited the market and a few shops. I bought honey, the first item on our list of take-home-to-Sweden bounty.  
In the warmest part of the day we did siesta - me in the hammock outside.
Later, as the day cooled off, Mike suggested taking the kayak to the lake. As you can see in today’s photo. The water was really warm, almost too warm to cool off when we swam. The sunset was gorgeous which is why our blipmeet participants ALL blipped it in various ways.
The day finished with home-baked bread, tasty cheese and wine. Another day to be grateful for, shared with lovely company in a delightful part of the world.
