Slow day

We had a slow start today.  The weather was glorious for October and we had a walk, but it was hot and No.1 was still feeling unwell after yesterday so we walked slowly.  Home to spend a few hours in the garden sitting in the sun.  I spotted a balloon overhead, which used to be a much more regular weekend sight, but I have not seen any balloons for a number of years.  We did a bit of paperwork and had a light supper after OH got home from football (his team drew - 2 goals in the last 2 minutes).  Watched the first episode of Beckham on Netflix, fascinating viewing.

No.1 starting to feel a bit better and looking forward to our little trip away.
