This evening in St Peter Port

The harbour is now becoming quite busy with quite a few visiting yachts in the visitor's marina.
The 3 interesting buildings on the skyline are, from the left...Elizabeth College Upper School, then St James, previously a church but now a theatre and last, Victoria Tower which was built ,to commemorate the first visit of a reigning monarch, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
Victoria Tower is particularly interesting because you can borrow the enormous key and go up inside to admire the view.
I may blip from there sometime soon
The tall yellow crane to the right is on the site of the old Vauxlaurens Brewery which was established in 1873. It was sold and knocked down (apart from the facade) to build a some luxury apartments on the site, work is going well!
