Seattle

Seattle felt surreal after so long in s frozen desert! So many people, so noisy, so warm, trees, birds, flowers, markets, cafes - and art! We spent a long time in the stunning Chihuly Museum and Garden next to the Space Needle. Then we strolled along the waterfront and stopped for a beer on Pier 55. A bit rough round the edges but plenty to keep us amused for a day. Virgin Atlantic to Heathrow tomorrow.
