Mums

It was inevitable that our guests would have at least one rainy day while they were here. This morning’s rain did not last long at all although the forecast calls for more showers tomorrow. We think the weather change is causing the females to have headaches. Poor Ben is still suffering with vertigo. They break up their days so they can come back and rest/nap to regain their energy. My sister and BIL had to go to the farm days early. The guy who installed their new guttering broke a window. He’s going to fix it tomorrow. I think we have everything ready for our trip up there next Wednesday. I accomplished a lot today: laundry, final spreadsheet clean up, meals prep and clean up, birds fed, etc. At some point, I went out and captured the mums that are blooming by the driveway. The blooms are small but I think their soft colors are attractive. Hubby’s truck has a newly painted hood. We picked it up today. He is quite pleased. Great news: Millie loves her new turkey and duck kibble. I am so relieved. This overcast humid weather is putting me to sleep. Guess I will take a short nap. Been awake since 4:00 am. It is time for another weekend. Hope yours is splendid. We are going to miss Brooklyn’s soccer tournament on Sat and Sun. We cannot get to her games on time in Columbia, MD and offer breakfast according to our guests’ schedule. Next year…. Thanks for visiting. So glad you liked the collage.
