Dunlin

We took the ferry to Fetlar today in the hope of seeing red-necked phalaropes at the Loch of Funzie. Unfortunately they didn't show up, probably because of the cold drizzly weather. We did get to see a nice whimbrel though.

We saw this dunlin later in the day on a lovely sandy bay near Norwick on Unst.
