Baltasound, Unst

We saw plenty more Shetland wildlife today, but none of it close enough for a really good photo. This included my first ever sighting of whales. It was a small pod of orcas off the coast near Muness, but so far away I could only just make them out with the aid of a very powerful scope.

For today's blip I have settled for this view towards Baltasound from the edge of Halligarth Wood. The blue building is the Baltasound Hotel, our home for five nights on Unst.
