The sun will be taking a brief hiatus later today and especially tomorrow when storm Phillippe rushes by.  It looks, right now, that it will be clear sailing late morning on Sunday so I can make my first road trip to Damariscotta with Mhairi, pronounced Mah-ree (that's her new name). It is Scots Gaelic for Mary but you might have been able to guess that.   My old car, Emylou will be picked up this afternoon.  I've donated her to Maine Public Radio.  I listen to their classical station all day in the studio so it is only fair.  Gift#277: a fun trip ahead.
