MEETING A WOODEN FRIEND - DAY 5 BCAM

Hello Lovely Blippers,

Reeth, the little pink pig here - from the Silly Saturday Gang. You can see that I am enjoying being an Ambassador not only for Blip but also for BCAM, which stands for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but I'm sure you already know that!

Mr. HCB is trying to ensure that Mrs. HCB goes out every day, so today he took her to a garden centre and they had coffee together.  Then they had a wander around the garden centre, hoping to find some bargains, but there weren’t many to be found - except Mr. HCB bought two shirts and two belts - so Mrs. HCB has told him that he needs to sort out at least 4 shirts to go to the charity shop!

Just as they were leaving, they spotted this wooden pig so, knowing I was inside her bag, Mrs. HCB asked the lady at the delicatessen counter if she could please take a photograph of me sitting on its head!  When she explained about BCAM, the lady said that she was very happy for her to do that, so Mrs HCB tried to move this rather large wooden pig, but it was too heavy for her.  However, there were two young lads near the counter, who obviously also worked at the garden centre, and they moved it.  Mind you when they mentioned that it was very heavy, Mrs. HCB said, with a price tag of £345, it was no wonder it was heavy - that was a lot of pig!

The HCBs were going to go out out grocery shopping afterwards, but Mrs. HCB said she felt too tired, so they came home and she went to bed for the afternoon.  I do get a bit worried about her at times, but at least she told Mr. HCB that she was tired, so perhaps in her old age she is getting sensible!
