How the sunflower looks today.

The Feast Day of Saint Placid and St. Maurus.
It is 19c indoors and rainy outdoors.
I explained before, all the weathers here that the sunflower above experienced, I decided to bring the image to blipfoto today, as it is possibly the last one I will take. I think the pale yellow petals are just about visible. I feel thankful to have followed it's progress.
I still have lettuce growing in the green house.
I grew concerned about the risk of fireworks harming the fabric of our green houses because traditionally fireworks are aerial and God only knows where any one could land. I am strongly opposed to fireworks.
Paul bought fire extinguishers to bring peace of mind.
October can be a trying time.
