The Gold of a Kiwi Spring….

The Kowhai trees are in flower all around the countryside. Especially along the banks of the Taylor River. The flowers on this small tree are a feast for the eyes.
Despite having a virus infection since last night, I ventured out early with Maisie this morning. My voice kept coming and going which puzzled Maisie when I called out to her at times. Once home I have laid low all day. Thankfully RAT tests for Covid have have been negative for now.
