A Distant Glow…..

There were clouds along the eastern horizon when Maisie and started out on our riverside walk early this morning. The sun did its best to defy the clouds and set up a display of rich red in spite of them. My nephew and his wife visited late morning. They brought Daisy, their dog, with them. She is a beautiful dog, part Labrador/Golden Retriever with very long legs. The cats disappeared. We had some sunshine today. But not for long and rain returned this evening but just a light shower..
