Curate's egg

The only photo from today, taken as I rounded the top of the stairs in Easter Road Stadium before entering the Edinburgh Suite and taking an exam. It was a pleasanter room to work in than the last time, across town - lots more light and no oppressive maroon decor!

It was rather a curate's egg of a paper, ie bad in parts. The translation of the passage from book 6 with the golden bough in it wasn't too bad, but I made a complete ientaculum canis of translating fas odisse viros atque omnia ferre sub auras, si qua tegunt in the extract from book 2. Doh! Ah well, now I've since drunk a glass or two of beer I can happily feel it all slipping away from me. :-)
