Lacecap

Today's the day ........................ to be unique

There has been only one flower on this lacecap hydrangea bush this year - and this is it.  Not quite sure why that should be the case because there were lots on it last year.  Maybe I pruned it at the wrong time or maybe it didn't like the summer weather? 

Anyway, I thought I'd better record it for posterity before it disappears altogether.  Hopefully next year, it will be one of many ....................
