Today we took a trip out to the Bowes Museum. Wow! What an incredible museum with an incredible story. Galleries of fashion, automata, ceramics, glass, silver and metal, paintings and furniture, all housed in a purpose-built museum gifted to the public. It’s a great place to delve into other worlds and see the finest craft and artistry. Sadly, the gallery of the Silver Swan was closed. Hopefully we’ll catch that wonder on our next visit. #bowesmuseum
