Underneath

Another day spent almost entirely working in the garden clearing large areas of ground elder that are threatening to take over. I spotted these lovely Porcelain fungi (Oudemansiella mucida) well above my head height on the trunk of a beech tree when I took the spaniel on his morning walk.
