I went to see the family of swans again today. But I only managed a couple of shots as by the time I got there it was raining and the parents were escorting their cygnets back to their nest, cleverly built on a piece of inaccessible river bank further down stream. They are incredibly wary and protective parents.

I was delighted to see all eight cygnets are thriving!
