Lunch at Jacqui's

Popped down to our friend, Jacqui's, for lunch and very nice it was too. 

However, after taking me for my afternoon walk..................... Ann has been exhausted ever since we came back. She's been sneezing for the last half an hour and is aching all over. Two of her friends have Covid (though she's not been in contact with them recently). Temps in St Ives have been 18C today and when we've been outside it's not felt that cold, but since coming home at about 3.45pm-ish I've just been snoozing on the sofa (see extras) and Ann has been so cold she's had to put her joggers and a fleece on. We also had to put all the lights on at 4.30pm because it's so dark and wet.

Ann thinks she might do a Covid test because she feels so yuk. She's still got a few Covid tests in our house in Cornwall though they might be out of date but tbh, is knowing that she has Covid really going to affect how she lives her life for the next few days? Ie, she feels yuk, so if she feels like this tomorrow morning she won't go to Zumba, or go for a swim in the sea, or meet a friend for lunch. If she feels OK, she will. Whatever the test says. She can't believe that more than three years later, Covid is still dominating our lives.....................

Anyway, it's 6.30pm and it's very dark and very rainy in St Ives tonight. Our solar powered lights haven't even come on. Must be saturated with rain?!!

The plan for tonight is..................... watch 'Coronation Street' and 'The Long Shadow' and then it will be bedtime. ….............Oh and my human is really looking forward to watching 'Partygate' tomorrow evening!!!

PS – If she tests positive for Covid, she'll update you all. Lol!!!!
