Welcome Back

The Gray Catbirds are back! I spotted and heard at least three of them in the backyard this morning. They took refreshing baths in the bog and then sat in the winged elm tree, preening and enjoying the sun's warmth. Seven of them hung out here last winter. I also heard several Brown Thrashers in the yard, so they're also back in town. I haven't seen one yet but identified their vocalizations using 'sound ID' on the Merlin app.
