The 'Brace'

A 'brace' of Black-bellied whistling ducks at the edge of the Home Depot retention pond. A group of ducks in flight are typically called a 'flock' or a 'brace' while on the ground. I've often heard the term 'raft' to describe a group of ducks swimming together in the water. Ok...now your day is complete! hahaha
