Orchard fruit

Nick has been doing some work at the community orchard and Bertie went along to keep him company so I went along mid afternoon to pick them up. It was very pleasant there, being sheltered from the wind and the sun shining. We haven’t had a brilliant harvest this year for various reasons, mainly weather related, but this crab apple was showing off its fruit beautifully in the sunshine.
