Hedge cutting

We were up early again today.  B had told us he would be here between 8.30 and 9 - at 9.30 we were still waiting - Irish times are quite flexible.  When he did arrive, the first indication we had that he was here was the sound of the hedge trimmer.  He had assumed that the absence of a car in the drive meant we were out - we keep our car IN the garage, unlike most people!

A fine, warm, and often sunny, day.  He's done a good amount - Elf and Safety would have kittens!  He'll be back tomorrow - "8.30" - believe that when we see it.

I planted the violas in the top of my pot of bulbs, then spent the rest of the day in the sewing room.  W did some weeding, and attempted to sweep up the leaves on the drive.  He's now slaving at the stove cooking a veg curry.
