A tour of the new garden

5 years ago, on their first morning, U & S had a tour of our garden.  I see it was "shirt-sleeve weather".

Not so warm this morning, when they got a tour of our new garden.  But as you can see, sunny, with blue skies.

Visits from Joe - to collect his digger, and Jimmy (Husky) to once again relay the guide wires for our robot mower occupied the middle of the day.  

After a late lunch, we mowed/strimmed/raked the area of long grass in the back garden.  This was going to be our meadow, but a couple of weeks ago we completely changed our minds.  Our hard work enabled it to be sufficiently cut down to allow it to be incorporated back into the mowing schedule for Husky.  A different area has been wired off to become the meadow.
