High above the crowds. Day 7

Things to be grateful for.
Waking before sun up and watching the sunlight spread across the valley, and through our van too.
Walking above the vines. So steep they need special equipment to harvest the grapes.
Watching birds of prey soaring the slight thermals, drifting along the hillside.
Listening to cicadas in the sun.
Changing clothes through the day. Thick clothes in the morning to stay warm, but eventually a vest and shorts as the day reached 26C.
Wonderful views as we twist and turn along the valley.
Wondering about tonight’s stopover because the valley floor has no spare space and all the campsites are full to bursting. And then Jan looks at our App and finds a panoramic view point high above the valley and we drive up and it’s empty.
Today’s blip is the view from our side door! Some days we feel very lucky!
