My first machine sewing project ...

...completed.

I bought some fabric on Bury Market last Friday, then spent the weekend practising sewing in a straight line.

Now my sewing machine is up and running I've completed my first project - a shopping bag. Started and finished in one evening, I made a few mistakes but despite these, I feel quite proud of myself. I don't think it's too bad for an absolute beginner!

What to make next? Another bag?
