I trudge through this field many mornings and as the corn is currently hovering over us I don’t normally pick this particular tree out but it stood out with the watery sky behind. The butterflies are feasting on the rotting laurel berries in increasing numbers - 20 at a time. I try and photograph them but haven’t got anything worth sharing.
Slow start as we had to go into P’field to sign some legals and that took a leg twitchingly long time. Then it was a full on day in the barn office with not much time for lunch. Went on viewing and doing calls until 8 and V had supper ready.
Very windy tonight, I wonder if anything will have come down in the garden.
