Skagit Valley

I painted this quite awhile ago. It lived at my brother Steve’s house until his recent move to Ashland. He said he didn’t have room for it in his new digs so he gave it back. Now it lives in my house over the fireplace. At the time I painted it I was thinking a lot about the Canadian Group of Seven. I can definitely see how their work influenced mine.
