Glorious sunshine

made the heath come alive this morning. Fabulous autumnal shades, magical glistening cobwebs, & general sparkliness everywhere.
An early walk this morning with Indie as I was meeting ex work colleagues for lunch. Sheila's 80th birthday later in the week.  Food was disappointing.
Got to take Mum's blood pressure twice a day for the next week, a.m & p.m, so swung by on my way back to Chudleigh.
Collected ripe seed from the Phacelia & Calendula growing in my wild patch
for making up wild flower mixes to share with anyone that would like to sprinkle a little happiness, & encourage the wildlife.
Made a big pot of vegetable soup for dinner. Love homemade soups.
Booked Mum's Covid jab at Dawlish Hospital. I could have booked a jab closer to home but reckon Mum & I probably need to treat ourselves to another Gays Creamery clotted cream cone. Will make sure we have plenty of napkins handy this time .. last time it got very messy, enjoyable, but messy. It should be cooler, that will help.
