Went to Crummock Water this morning and boy was it very wild there.  I'm glad I had my wellies on as lots of wading through water.  Gave up though when the water was near the top of them.  Didn't want to risk walking on the wall at the side of the footpath as knowing my luck would have lost balance in the wind!  So turned around and walked the other side of the lake to the boat house and then through the woods back to the car.  Back home and M has given the garage a second coat of paint and has primed the garage door.  Its looking very good.  After a cuppa thought I'd better get back to cutting back the brambles as haven't done any for a while.  Oh and two more in extras.
