Haut Medoc - watching, learning, tasting

We sailed to Cussac Fort Medoc during the morning and after lunch we began our afternoon adventure with fine wines.

Wonderful weather, ripe grapes, harvesting and seeing the famous Chateaux.  All sorts of buildings. All sorts of scenes as the really expensive wine grapes are hand picked, but the slightly less famous chateaux use huge machines.

Land in the Haut Medoc can be as much as a million euros per acre……and you can imagine the prices of some of the wines.

We tasted three excellent wines at Chateau Camensac (extras)
