Florence

Today we took the train from Lucca to Florence.  It takes about 90 minutes.  It was of course very busy with tourists in Florence so we were glad we had pre booked tickets for the Uffizi Gallery. We were not disappointed by the art on display! Of course we wanted to see Botticelli's Birth of Venus and  Primavera (Spring), but there were so many more treasures besides. We spent over three hours there. My blip was taken from the Uffizi looking over the Florentine roof tops.
