At Granton harbour
Cycle ride first; out by the West End. The cycle paths around Haymarket are still a restricted mess; once past there there's a clear run to Silverknowes. Back by Granton harbour. Rowers launching on the slipway; in the other direction the yacht Humdinger was coming out of the water on the crane.
Flat calm and very mild; cooler on the shaded paths which had puddles from last night's rain.
Out again later to another Doors Open place, James Clerk Maxwell's house on India Street. Met one of the Library people with her family. Stairwell in extra. This was much more of a restoration than a rebuilding compared to yesterday (and more recently built). No access to the top of the house or the basement parts; nicely kept garden.
Very windy in the evening, so much so that we closed the front windows which have been open for months .. which requires standing in the windows ..
