Arbutus bark

I love arbutus trees and the colour of the bark. This piece was caught on the rusty old wire fence along the trail, and I liked the wire (of course!) and the twig with the leaf stems winding their way up it.
I thought it might rain on my short walk this morning so I took my umbrella just in case (1st extra). Didn't need it just like we didn't need the shade umbrella yesterday. It was absolutely what I needed, that walk, short or not. The air smelled so sweet and fresh after yesterday's rain. I had a short conversation with a raven that flew over me, and heard frogs by the creek, birds singing, and the wind rustling the leaves in the tress.  Invigorating.
A storm moving in later with rain and high winds, so I wanted to get my blip posted early just in case we lose power.
I had a few minutes to try Generative Fill in Photoshop and have included my original photo as a 2nd extra and the experiment with GF in the 3rd. I typed in "autumn ground cover" to fill in the background. Not perfect but fun to give it a go.
Another win in 3 straight sets for Kalyn and her team last night. Great start to the season!
