Buzzing

There is a dead tree stump in my garden about 10ft tall, covered in ivy.  The ivy has flowered and the last couple of days it has been a swarm of activity.  It's covered in dozens and dozens of bees and wasps and hover flies.  I managed to get a shot with all three on one bunch of flowers.  I like it because they are all similar looking insects but all very different.  I believe it is a honey bee. I also love the ivy flower.

I took the girls to gymnastics this morning and enjoyed an hour chatting to my friend there. After we walked into town to take my fox cross stitch to the frame shop, then home.  Went for a short walk with another friend then home for the afternoon.  

This evening we all watched the Disney movie Elemental, it was great and it was lovely to watch a movie all together, its been a long while since we did that.
