Seconder

A long day at work.  I'm helping a new Director on a specialist area that I want to get involved in.  It's a privilege to be involved and I want to do it, but it's also a stress as I have to fit in that and all my other work.  So I worked late but it worked out well as a friend offered to do Brownies drop off and pick up.   The eldest is happy as she became a Seconder.

The unit leader is leaving after the next half term.  The guiding District Commissioner is going to take over the group but it could only happen if someone else volunteered as a helper. No one came forward so I said I would do it.  The girls both love going and I don't want the unit to close and I think it'll be fun.
