Derwent Water

We walked to Lingholm estate and back for lunch today. It was wonderful, the weather perfect for walking in.

This evening we had to go to Booths in Keswick for a few bits so decided we’d have a couple of pints before heading back. We did three pubs , and in the last one we shared a table with a couple as it was quite busy.

We chatted like you do and it turned out I was at University (London Wye) which had 100 students per year, in the same year as his best friend! Still find it hard to believe - what are the chances! So now Mr H and I have been reminiscing about my time at Wye!
