Borrowdale

We’ve come back to Borrowdale which is where we were staying when we had to have our Beloved Reggie put to sleep. We felt we had to do it soon or else we’d probably never face it! These dogs leave such a hole in your heart.

The weather is not quite like it was when we were here in June, but after a mooch around Keswick where we saw the lovely Ted, the resident Airedale in one of the shops, and then bumped into Derek , a one year old rescue I felt Reggie was with us. Two lovely cuddles with them which made me feel much better.

Had a stroll down the lake side from the campsite, and there was a glimmer of light looking away from the Lake. As I pressed the shutter the paddle board appeared. Nice to actually see a bit of colour on a very dreary day!
