First Impressions

Fascinating watching Eden discover beach and sea for the first time. She's super observant and super sensitive, and it was a lot to take in at first. Waves rolling in, soft sand on bare feet, harder sand to dig in, Mummy and Daddy going into the water (she did not like that), shells to pick up, sailboats on the horizon, planes taking off, getting on the ferry...

So, she couldn't sleep at naptime, but fell asleep in the pushchair after we got off the ferry to Faro, and slept while we had drinks by the marina.

The others have now gone off to the Forum Shopping Centre, and I'm babysitting a hopefully deeply asleep baby.
