Today we attended the annual review of the Cathedral here in Ripon. It was also an opportunity for clergy to explain a bit more about their plans for a new build to further enhance the work of the Cathedral. And to field questions from those with the concerns about the impact of a significant new build, the loss of trees, the environmental impact and, inevitably, the uncomfortable nature of change. 
And whilst there I bumped into John, living in Ripon, attending the Cathedral and visiting Professor of Social Entrepreneurship, just one of a number of distinguished titles. During conversations I was delighted to learn a lot and to discover yet another whole new world about which I know so little. So I’m grateful for the outstanding work of the Cathedral and the exciting plans for the future, and equally excited that good people such as John play their part in this work. Ah …. Entrepreneurship. Here we go ……
