You are joking

This is our road leading out onto the A66. Suddenly this sign has appeared and a few yards further on, just out of the picture, is a similar sign facing the other way.

The road is not closed, there has been nothing done, nothing is being done, there is no need for anything to be done. There is no warning sign at the end of the road, it is too narrow to turn round.

Everyone ignores it.

Maybe the sign people were given the wrong address.

Maybe it’s a joke!
