After a bit of a late start, we drove down to Ault Park, where we started with a stroll round the formal gardens, then went for a walk on the trails. We didn’t make it a very long walk, as by now it was quite hot and humid. Everything is very dry - we really need some rain, but there’s nothing significant in the forecast for the next week.
In the evening it was Handbell and choir practice. We won’t be here for the next time the Bells play in church, towards the end of October, so Gloria put us on other bells for the evening filling in for people who weren’t there.
