Today's the day . . . . . . . . . . for an AGM

Another reason for coming up to the north east at this time of the year, was to attend the Annual General Meeting of the National Trust for Scotland - that's where we've been today.

It involved us driving to the north of Aberdeen via a completely new (to us) outer by-pass - and finding a huge new (to us) Conference Venue called P&J Live.  How Aberdeen has changed since we lived here!  The AGM started at 11.00am and ran on smoothly to finish for lunch a couple of hours later.

And I'm pleased to tell you that one of the items on the agenda was to appoint Will and two others on to the Board of Trustees.  His area of expertise is in the 'Natural heritage, wildlife and environment' field - and I know he will do a great job as a Trustee.  

So proud of that man. . . . . . . . . . !
