Signs Of Autumn

A pretty dull overcast evening, but the colours in this scene stood out to me. I liked the relationship between the yellows of the walnut and the sneezeweed below it, with the intervening reds of the nannyberry.

A difficult image to process. It was very flat initially and balancing each of the areas of colour was a challenge and easy to overdo. I chose a colour mask in the end to select the sky having tried sky and luminance and reduce its exposure.

Extra: Bouncing Around. Interesting how the eye moves around the image across the diagonals.
