These two coat hangers belong to Gatesbield, built and owned by Stanley Web Davies and his wife, Emily. They were made by Stanley, or one of his craftsmen. As a tenant of Gatesbield Housing Association, I am fortunate to have daily access to the main building and it’s many beautiful arts and crafts features. Even the simplest items suit the tasks they are made for.
