Where we slept

Kermit took us from Bellingham over to Bamburgh today.

We found this layby with views to Holy Island and the Farne Islands and direct access down to the beach. So simply, we stayed put (of course checking for "no overnight camping" signs).

We spent the sunny afternoon watching the golfers and walkers enjoying their Sunday. Later on as the sun was getting lower in the sky I watched a dad and his daughter rock pooling with their little nets.

Clouds settled in so the sunset towards Holy Island was short lived. A great spot - despite the few minutes cycle to the public loos!
