Lasagne

No.1 had an appointment at St George's so OH went with her.  As her appointment was at 5.00 I made a lasagne they could have when they got home.  OH stayed to eat and then drove home in the rain.  No.1 sent me a picture and I think they enjoyed it. The appointment went well (as well as it could in the sh*t circumstances).  

I had afternoon tea with the girls.  M's turn to host and she makes an amazing victoria sandwich.  I was feeling bit glum but tried not to show it and it was a tonic being amongst good friends.  L's daughter works for a prestige beauty brand and she came armed with a bag of goodies they get as 'samples' and invited us to help ourselves.  I had a couple of pots of face cream and googled when I got home and nearly fell on the floor - they retail at £299 each and I had two!!  Result.  Hopefully we will all be looking ten years younger when we next meet.
